And strive for God with the true striving [due] to Him. He has chosen you and has not placed any difficulty upon you in the religion. [It is] the religion of your father, Abraham. [God] named you "in submission to God" before [in former Scriptures] *2* _{Chronicles 30:8}, *_{Psalms 66:3}*, *_{Psalms 81:15}*, *_{Romans 10:3}*, *_{1Corinthians 15:27} - 28, *_{James 4:7}* and in this [revelation] so that the messenger may be a witness over you and you may be witnesses over the people. So establish prayer and give purifying [alms] and hold firmly to God. He is your Protector; and the Protector is excellent, and the helper is excellent.
