Your mothers are prohibited to you [for marriage], *_{Leviticus 18:7}* and your daughters, your sisters, *_{Leviticus 18:9}*, *_{Deuteronomy 27:22}* your father's sisters, *_{Leviticus 18:12}* your mother's sisters, *_{Leviticus 18:13}* your brother's daughters, your sister's daughters, your [milk] mothers who nursed you, your sisters through nursing, your wives' mothers, *_{Deuteronomy 27:23}* and your step-daughters under your guardianship [born] of your wives to whom you have gone in. *_{Leviticus 18:17}* But if you have not gone in to them, there is no sin upon you. And [also prohibited are] the wives of your sons who are from your [own] loins, and that you take two sisters [in marriage] simultaneously, *_{Leviticus 18:18}* except for what has already occurred.
