So when the [time of the] promise came for the first of them, We sent servants of Ours *_{Jeremiah 25:9}*, *_{Jeremiah 27:6}*, *_{Jeremiah 43:10}* against you - those of great military might, and they probed [even] into the homes, and it was a fulfilled promise. *_{Jeremiah 39:1}*, *_{Jeremiah 39:8}*, *_{Daniel 1:1}*, *_{Sirach 49:6}*

Then We gave a return victory back to you over them. *_{Isaiah 13:19}*, *_{Jeremiah 25:12}*, *_{Jeremiah 51:34}* - 37 And We reinforced you with wealth and sons and made you more numerous in manpower.

[And said], "If you do good, you do good for yourselves; and if you do evil, [you do it] to yourselves." Then when the final promise came, [We sent your enemies] to sadden your faces and to enter the temple [in Jerusalem], as they entered it the first time, *2* _{Kings 25:9}, *_{2Chronicles 36:19}, *_{Jeremiah 52:13}*, *_{Ezra 5:12}* and to destroy what they had taken over with [total] destruction. *_{BookOfEnoch 89:66}, *_{BookOfEnoch 93:8}, *_{Matthew 24:1}* - 2, *_{Luke 19:41}* - 44, *_{Luke 21:5}* - 6, *_{Luke 21:24}*, *_{Barnabas 16:5}* 17:8 [Then God said], "It is expected, [if you repent], that your Lord will have mercy upon you. But if you return [to sin], We will return [to punishment]. And We have made Gehenna a prison-bed for the disbelievers."

And We have made the night and day as two signs, and We erased the sign of the night and made the sign of the day visible *_{Job 38:19}* so that you may seek bounty from your Lord and may know the number of years and the account [of time]. And We have set everything out in detail.

And your Lord has decreed that you do not serve [anything] except Him, and good [treatment] to parents. *_{Exodus 20:12}*, *_{Deuteronomy 5:16}*, *_{Matthew 19:19}* Whether one or both of them reach old age [while] with you, do not say to them [so much as], "Uff," and do not repel them but speak a noble word to them.

Indeed, your Lord extends provision for whom He wills and restricts [it]. *1* _{Samuel 2:7} Indeed He is Aware and Seeing of His servants.

And do not approach unlawful sexual intercourse. *_{Exodus 20:14}*, *_{Deuteronomy 5:18}*, *_{Matthew 5:27}* Indeed, it is an immorality and evil as a way.

And do not kill the soul which God has forbidden, *_{Exodus 20:13}*, *_{Deuteronomy 5:17}*, *_{Matthew 5:21}* except by truth. And whoever is killed unjustly - We have given his heir authority, but do not let him exceed limits in taking life. Indeed, he is helped.

And give full measure when you measure, and weigh with an even balance. *_{Deuteronomy 25:15}*, *_{Leviticus 19:35}* - 36 That is the best [way] and best in result.

And do not pursue that of which you have no knowledge. *_{Sirach 3:21}* Indeed, the hearing, the sight and the heart - [one] will be questioned about all those.

The seven heavens and the earth and whatever is in them exalt Him. And there is not a thing except that it exalts [God] by His praise, *_{BookOfEnoch 41:7}*, *_{BookOfEnoch 69:23} - 24, *_{Psalms 69:34}*, *_{Psalms 148:3}* - 4, *_{Psalms 148:7}* - 12, *Prayer of _{Azariah 1:36} - 1:59 but you do not understand their [way of] exalting. Indeed, He is Forbearing and Forgiving.

And [remember, O Muhammad], when We told you, "Indeed, your Lord has encompassed the people." And We did not make the vision which We showed you except as a trial for the people, as the accursed tree was [mentioned] in the Qur'an. *_{Quran 37:62}* - 63, *_{Quran 44:43} - 44, *_{Quran 56:51} - 52 And We threaten them, but it does not increase them in [anything] except great transgression.

And when We said to the angels, "Prostrate to Adam," *_{Hebrews 1:6}* and they prostrated, except for Iblees. He said, "Should I prostrate to one You created from clay?" ~*Gospel of _{Barnabas 35:3} 17:62 [Iblees] said, "Do You see this one whom You have honored above me? If You delay me until the Day of Resurrection, I will surely bring his descendants under my control, except for a few."

And when adversity touches you at sea, [all] those you invoke are lost except for Him. But when He delivers you to the land, you turn away [from Him]. And man is ungrateful. *_{Psalms 107:23}* - 31

And from [part of] the night, arise from sleep [at midnight] as additional [prayer] for you; it is expected that your Lord will raise you to a praiseworthy station. *_{Psalms 119:62}*, *_{Acts 16:25}* 17:80 And say, "My Lord, cause me to enter a sound entrance and to exit a sound exit and grant me a supporting authority from Yourself."
