God has set a seal upon their hearts and upon their hearing, and a veil over their vision. *_{Isaiah 44:18}*, *_{John 12:40}* And there is a great punishment for them.

But if you do not - and you will never be able to - then fear the Fire, whose fuel is men and stones, *_{Isaiah 9:19}* prepared for the disbelievers.

And when We said to the angels, "Prostrate before Adam;" *_{Hebrews 1:6}* so they prostrated, except for Iblees. He refused and was arrogant and became among the disbelievers.

And We said, "O Adam, dwell in the Garden, you and your wife, and eat therefrom in [ease and] abundance from wherever you will. But do not approach this tree, *_{Genesis 2:16}* - 17 unless you should be among the wrongdoers."

And fear a Day when no soul will suffice for another soul at all, nor will intercession be accepted from it, nor will ransom be taken from it, *_{BookOfEnoch 52:7}*, *_{BookOfEnoch 63:10}, *_{BookOfJubilees 5:23}, *_{Job 36:18}* - 19, *_{Psalms 49:6}* - 7, *_{Proverbs 11:4}*, *_{Zephaniah 1:18}*, *_{Ezekiel 7:19}* nor will they be aided.

And [remember] when We saved you from the people of Pharaoh, who afflicted you with the worst torment, slaughtering your [newborn] sons and keeping your women alive. *_{Exodus 1:16}*, *_{Exodus 1:22}* And there was a great trial in that from your Lord.

And [remember] when We parted the sea for you *_{BookOfEnoch 89:24}*, *_{Exodus 14:21}* - 22 and saved you *_{Exodus 14:30}* and drowned the people of Pharaoh *_{BookOfEnoch 89:27}, *_{Exodus 14:28}* while you were looking on.

And [remember] when We made an appointment with Moses for forty nights. *_{Exodus 24:18}*, *_{Exodus 34:28}*, *_{Deuteronomy 9:9}*, *_{Deuteronomy 9:11}* Then you took the calf [as a god] after him, *_{Exodus 32:4}* while you were wrongdoers. *_{Deuteronomy 9:16}*

And [remember] when Moses said to his people, "O my people, indeed you have wronged yourselves by taking the calf [as a god]. So repent to your Creator and kill your own [wrongdoers among you]. *_{Exodus 32:27}* That is best for [all of] you to your Creator." Then He accepted your repentance; indeed, He is the Accepting of repentance, the Merciful.

And We shaded you with clouds and sent down manna to you *_{Exodus 16:15}* and quails, *_{Exodus 16:13}* [saying], "Eat from the good things with which We have provided you." And they did not wrong Us - but they were [only] wronging themselves.

And [remember] when Moses asked for water for his people, *_{Exodus 17:2}* so We said, "Strike the stone with your staff." *_{Exodus 17:6}*, *_{Numbers 20:11}* And twelve springs gushed forth from it, and every people knew its watering place, [saying,] "Eat and drink from the provision of God, and do not commit abuse on the earth, spreading corruption."

And [remember] when you said, "O Moses, we can never endure one [kind of] food. So call upon your Lord to bring forth green herbs from the earth for us and [also] its cucumbers and its garlic and its lentils and its onions." *_{Numbers 11:4}* - 5 [Moses] said, "Would you exchange what is better for what is less? Go into [any] settlement and indeed, you will have what you have asked." And they were struck with humiliation and poverty and incurred anger from God [upon themselves]. *_{Numbers 11:10}* That was because they [repeatedly] disbelieved in the signs of God and killed the prophets without truth. That was because they disobeyed and were [habitually] transgressing.

He said, "He says, 'It is a cow neither trained to plow the earth nor to irrigate the field, one free from fault with no blemish upon her.'" ~*_{Deuteronomy 15:21}*, ~*_{Deuteronomy 17:1}* They said, "Now you have come with the truth." So they slaughtered her, but they could hardly do it.

So woe to those who write the "scripture" with their own hands, then say, "This is from God," in order to exchange it for a small price. Woe to them for what their hands have written and woe to them for what they earn. *_{BookOfEnoch 98:15}*, *_{BookOfEnoch 99:2} 2:80 And they say, "The Fire will never touch us, except for a few days." Say, "Have you taken a covenant with God? *_{Isaiah 28:15}*, *_{Isaiah 28:18}* For God will never break His covenant. And [remember] when We took the covenant from the Children of Israel, [enjoining upon them], "Do not serve [anything] except God; and do good to parents and to relatives, orphans, and the needy. And speak good [words] to people and establish prayer and give purifying [alms]." Then you turned away, except a few of you, and you were refusing. *_{Zechariah 7:9}* - 11

And We certainly gave Moses the Book and followed up with messengers after him. And We gave Jesus, the son of Mary, clear proofs and supported him with the Holy Spirit. *_{Isaiah 42:1}*, *_{Matthew 12:18}*, *_{Luke 4:1}*, *_{Acts 10:38}* But is it [not] that every time a messenger came to you, with what your souls did not desire, you were arrogant? And you denied a group and you killed another group.

And when it is said to them, "Believe in what God has sent down," they say, "We [only] believe in what was sent down to us." And they disbelieve in what came after it, *_{John 9:28}* - 29 while it is the truth confirming that which is with them. Say, "Then why did you kill the prophets of God before, if you are [indeed] believers?"

And Moses had certainly brought you clear proofs. Then you took the calf [as a god] after that, *_{Exodus 32:4}* while you were wrongdoers. *_{Deuteronomy 9:16}*

And you will surely find them the most greedy of people for life - [even] more than those who associate others [with God]. One of them wishes that he could be granted life for a thousand years, ~*_{BookOfEnoch 10:10}* but it would not remove him in the least from the [coming] punishment that he should be granted life. And God is Seeing of what they do.

Whoever is an enemy to God and His angels and His messengers and Gabriel and Michael - then indeed, God is an enemy to the disbelievers. *_{Exodus 23:20}* - 22

And they followed [instead] what the devils had recited over the kingdom of Solomon. It was not Solomon who disbelieved, but the devils disbelieved, teaching people magic and that which was sent down to the two angels at Babylon, Harut and Marut. ~*Epistle of _{Barnabas 9:3}* But the two angels do not teach anyone unless they say, "We are a trial, so do not disbelieve [by practicing magic]." And [yet] they learn [magic] from them in which they cause separation between a man and his wife. But they do not harm anyone through it except by permission of God. And the people learn what harms them and does not benefit them. But the Children of Israel certainly knew that whoever purchased the magic would not have any share in the Hereafter. *_{Deuteronomy 18:10}* - 11 And that for which they sold their souls is [indeed] wretched, if they only knew.

Do you not know that the kingdom of the heavens and the earth [belongs] to God and [that] you do not have any protector or any helper besides God? *_{Isaiah 43:11}*, *_{Hosea 13:4}*, *_{Sirach 24:24}* 2:108 Or do you intend to ask your messenger as Moses was asked before? And whoever exchanges faith for disbelief has certainly strayed from the soundness of the way.

They say, "God has taken a son." *2* _{Ezra 2:47}, *_{Mark 15:39}*, *_{Acts 8:37}*, *_{Acts 9:20}* He is Exalted! Rather, whatever is in the heavens and the earth [belongs] to Him. All are devoutly obedient to Him

Originator of the heavens and the earth. When He decrees a matter, He only says to it, "Be," and it is. *_{Genesis 1:3}*, *_{Genesis 1:9}*, *_{Genesis 1:11}*, *_{Genesis 1:14}* - 15, *_{Genesis 1:24}*, *_{BookOfJubilees 12:3}, *_{Psalms 33:6}*, *_{Psalms 33:9}*, *Wisdom of _{Solomon 9:1}, *_{Judith 16:14}*, *_{2Ezra 16:55} - 56

Those who do not know say, "Why does God not speak to us or a sign come to us?" Thus those before them spoke like their words. Their hearts resemble each other. *_{Matthew 12:38}*, *_{Mark 8:11}*, *_{Luke 11:29}* We have shown the signs clearly to a people who are certain [in faith].

And Abraham instructed his sons and Jacob, [saying], "O my sons, indeed God has chosen this religion for you, so do not die except while you are in submission [to God]." *_{Genesis 18:19}*, *_{BookOfJubilees 20:9} - 11

Or were you witnesses when death approached Jacob, when he said to his sons, "What will you serve after me?" They said, "We will serve your God ~*_{BookOfJasher 56:5}* and the God of your fathers, Abraham and Ishmael and Isaac - one God. And we are in submission to Him."

For each [religious following] is a direction toward which it faces. *_{Psalms 5:7}*, *_{Psalms 138:2}*, *_{1Kings 8:29} - 30, *_{1Kings 8:35}, *_{1Kings 8:41} - 42, *_{1Kings 8:44}, *_{1Kings 8:48}, *_{2Chronicles 6:20} - 21, *_{2Chronicles 6:26}, *_{2Chronicles 6:34}, *_{2Chronicles 6:38} So race to [all that is] good. Wherever you may be, God will bring you forth all together. Indeed, God is Powerful over all things.

Indeed, those who conceal what We sent down of clear proofs and guidance after We made it clear for the people in the Scripture - *2* _{Ezra 12:36} - 37, *_{2Ezra 14:6}, *_{2Ezra 14:26} those are cursed by God and cursed by those who curse

And your God is one God. *_{Deuteronomy 6:4}*, *_{Mark 12:29}*, *_{Mark 12:32}*, *_{James 2:19}*, *_{ShepherdOfHermas 26:1} There is no god except Him, *_{Deuteronomy 4:35}*, *_{Deuteronomy 4:39}*, *_{1Samuel 2:2}, *_{2Samuel 7:22}, *_{1Kings 8:60}, *_{Isaiah 44:6}*, *_{Isaiah 44:8}*, *_{Isaiah 45:5}* - 6, *_{Isaiah 45:21}*, *_{Mark 12:32}* the Gracious, the Merciful.

And [yet], among the people are those who take [idols] other than God as equals [to Him]. They love them as they [should] love God. *_{Matthew 6:24}*, *_{Luke 16:13}* But those who believe are stronger in love for God. And if only those who have wronged would consider [that] when they see the punishment, [they will be certain] that all power [belongs] to God *_{BookOfEnoch 9:5}, *_{Psalms 62:11}*, *_{Romans 13:1}* and that God is severe in punishment.

Those who followed will say, "If only we had another turn [at worldly life] *_{BookOfEnoch 63:1}*, *_{BookOfEnoch 63:5}, *_{ShepherdOfHermas 17:5} so we could disassociate ourselves from them as they have disassociated themselves from us." Thus, God will show them their deeds as regrets upon them. And they are never to emerge from the Fire.

He has only forbidden dead [creatures] to you, *_{Leviticus 22:8}* blood, *_{Genesis 9:4}*, *_{Leviticus 7:26}*, *_{Leviticus 17:12}*, *_{BookOfJubilees 6:10}, *_{BookOfJubilees 6:17} - 19, *_{Deuteronomy 12:23}*, *_{Acts 15:20}* the flesh of swine, *_{Leviticus 11:7}* - 8, *_{Deuteronomy 14:8}* and that which has been dedicated to [something] other than God. *_{Exodus 34:15}*, *_{Acts 15:28}* - 29, *_{Acts 21:25}*, *_{1Corinthians 10:28} But whoever is forced, neither desiring [it] nor transgressing, there is no sin upon him. Indeed, God is Forgiving and Merciful.

Indeed, those who conceal what God has sent down of the Book *2* _{Ezra 12:36} - 37, *_{2Ezra 14:6}, *_{2Ezra 14:26} and exchange it for a small price - those do not consume [anything] into their bellies except the Fire. And God will not speak to them on the Day of Resurrection, nor will He purify them. And they will have a painful punishment.

And there is [the restoring of] life for you in legal retribution, *_{Leviticus 24:21}* O you [people] of understanding, so that you may fear [God].

It has been made lawful for you to go to your wives the night [preceding] fasting. They are clothing for you and you are clothing for them. God knows that you used to deceive yourselves, so He turned towards you and forgave you. So now, have relations with them and seek that which God has decreed for you. And eat and drink until the white thread of dawn becomes clear to you from the black thread [of night]. Then complete the fast until the night. *_{Judges 20:26}*, *_{2Samuel 1:12}, *_{2Samuel 3:35} And do not have relations with them as long as you are devoted in the mosques. These are the limits [set by] God, so do not approach them. Thus, God makes His verses clear to the people so that they may fear [Him].

And spend in the way of God and do not throw [yourselves] with your [own] hands into destruction. *Wisdom of _{Solomon 1:12}* And do good; indeed, God loves the doers of good.

And they ask you about menstruation. Say, "It is harm, so keep away from wives during menstruation. *_{Ezekiel 18:6}* And do not approach them until they are pure. And when they have purified themselves, then come to them from where God has commanded you. Indeed, God loves those who are constantly repentant and loves those who purify themselves."

Have you not considered the assembly of the Children of Israel after [the time of] Moses when they said to a prophet of theirs, "Raise a king for us, *1* _{Samuel 12:12}, *_{Acts 13:21}* and we will fight in the way of God"? *_{1Samuel 8:19} - 20 He said, "Would you perhaps not fight if fighting was prescribed for you?" They said, "And why should we not fight in the way of God when we have been driven out from our homes and from our children?" But when fighting was prescribed for them, they turned away, *_{1Samuel 13:6} except for a few of them. *_{1Samuel 14:11} - 13 And God is Knowing of the wrongdoers.

And their prophet said to them, "Indeed, God has raised Saul for you as a king." *_{Acts 13:21}* They said, "How can he have kingship over us *_{1Samuel 11:12} while we have truer [right] to kingship than him and he has not been given an abundance of wealth?" He said, "Indeed, God has chosen him over you and has increased him extensively in knowledge and stature. And God gives His sovereignty to whom He wills. And God is Encompassing and Knowing."

And their prophet said to them, "Indeed, a sign of his kingship is that the ark will come to you *1* _{Samuel 14:18} in which is tranquility from your Lord and a remnant of what the family of Moses and the family of Aaron had left, *_{Exodus 25:16}*, *_{Deuteronomy 10:5}*, *_{1Kings 8:9}, *_{2Chronicles 5:10} carried by the angels. Indeed there is a sign in that for you, if you are believers."

And when Saul separated the soldiers, he said, "Indeed, God will be testing you [and your fast] with a river. So whoever drinks from it is not with me, *1* _{Samuel 14:24} and whoever does not taste it is indeed with me, excepting one who takes [from it] in the hollow of his hand." But they drank from it, except a [very] few of them. ~*_{Judges 7:4}* - 7 Then when he had crossed it along with those who believed with him, they said, "There is no power for us against Goliath and his soldiers today." But those who were certain that they would meet God said, "How many small companies have overcome a large company by permission of God? And God is with the patient."

So they defeated them by permission of God, and David killed Goliath, *1* _{Samuel 17:50} and God gave him the kingdom and wisdom and taught him from that which He willed. And if it were not for God checking [some] people by means of others, the earth would have been corrupted, but God is full of bounty to the worlds.

Those messengers - We caused some of them to exceed others. Among them were those whom God spoke to, and He raised some of them in degree. And We gave Jesus, the son of Mary, clear proofs, and We supported him with the Holy Spirit. *_{Isaiah 42:1}*, *_{Matthew 12:18}*, *_{Luke 4:1}*, *_{Acts 10:38}* If God had willed, those succeeding them would not have fought each other after the clear proofs had come to them. But they differed, and some of them believed and some of them disbelieved. And if God had willed, they would not have fought each other, but God does what He intends.

God - there is no god except Him, *_{Deuteronomy 4:35}*, *_{Deuteronomy 4:39}*, *_{1Samuel 2:2}, *_{2Samuel 7:22}, *_{1Kings 8:60}, *_{Isaiah 44:6}*, *_{Isaiah 44:8}*, *_{Isaiah 45:5}* - 6, *_{Isaiah 45:21}*, *_{Mark 12:32}* the Ever-Living, the Sustainer of [all] existence. Neither drowsiness overtakes Him nor sleep. *_{Psalms 121:3}* - 4 Whatever is in the heavens and whatever is on the earth [belong] to Him. Who is it that can intercede with Him except by His permission? He knows what is [presently] before them and what will be after them, and they do not encompass a thing of His knowledge except for what He wills. His Throne extends over the heavens and the earth, and their preservation does not tire Him. *_{Isaiah 40:28}* And He is the Most High, the Most Great.

God is the Savior of those who believe. *1* _{Timothy 4:10} He brings them out from darknesses into the light. And those who disbelieve - their saviors are false gods. They take them out of the light into darknesses. Those are the companions of the Fire; they will abide eternally therein.

And when Abraham said, "My Lord, show me how You give life to the dead." [God] said, "Have you not believed?" He said, "Yes, but [I] only [ask] so that my heart may be satisfied." [God] said, "Take four birds and incline them [to come] to yourself. Then put a portion of them on each hill; ~*_{Genesis 15:9}* - 10 then call them - they will come [flying] to you with effort. And know that God is Almighty and Wise."

O you who have believed, do not invalidate your charities with reminders or injury as one who spends his wealth to be seen by the people and does not believe in God and the Last Day. His example is like that of a smooth stone upon which is dust and it is hit by a downpour that leaves it bare. *Wisdom of _{Solomon 5:14}* They are unable [to keep] anything of what they have earned. And God does not guide the disbelieving people.

Those who consume interest cannot stand as one stands whom Satan confounds by his touch. That is because they say, "Trade is like interest." But God has permitted trade and has forbidden interest. *_{Leviticus 25:36}* - 37, *_{Psalms 15:5}*, *_{Ezekiel 18:8}*, *_{Ezekiel 18:13}*, *_{Ezekiel 18:17}*, *_{Ezekiel 22:12}* - 13 So whoever has received an admonition from his Lord and desists may have what is past, and his affair rests with God. But whoever returns to [dealing in interest or usury] - those are the companions of the Fire; they will abide eternally therein.

O you who have believed, fear God and give up what remains [due to you] of interest, if you should be believers. *_{Nehemiah 5:9}* - 10

O you who have believed, when you contract a debt for a specified term, write it down. And let a scribe write [it] between you in justice. Let no scribe refuse to write as God has taught him. So let him write and let the one who has the true [right] dictate. And let him fear God, his Lord, and not leave anything out of it. But if the one who has the true [right] is of limited understanding or weak or unable to dictate himself, then let his guardian dictate in justice. And bring two witnesses from among your men to witness. And if there are not two men [available], then a man and two women from those whom you accept as witnesses - so that if one [of the women] errs, then the other [woman, not the man,] can remind her. And do not let the witnesses refuse when they are called upon. And do not be [too] weary to write it, whether it is small or large, for its [specified] term. That is more just with God and stronger as testimony and more likely to prevent doubt between you, except when it is an immediate transaction which you conduct amongst yourselves. For [then] there is no blame upon you if you do not write it. And take witnesses when you conclude a contract. *_{Jeremiah 32:9}* - 12 Let no scribe be harmed or any witness. For if you do so, indeed, it is [grave] disobedience in you. And fear God. And God teaches you. And God is Knowing of all things.

And do not consume one another's wealth by unjust means, nor offer it as bribes to the officials in order to consume part of other people's wealth illicitly, while you know.

About this world and the next. And they ask you about orphans. Say, "Improvement for them is best. And if you intermix with them, then they are your brethren." God knows the dishonest from the honest. Had God willed, He could have overburdened you. God is Mighty and Wise.
